I was so glad I booked with this hotel! Yes, the casino is really skanky and it is really unfortunate that the front desk is located there, BUT, the hotel itself, which is in a separate building is spotlessly clean. I was a bit concerned by some of the negative reviews of this hotel, but since we were traveling in early March, I didn't want to pay resort fees for amenities I wouldn't use. Overall, we had a great experience, thought we got a great value, and we would definitely stay here again. The only restaurants in the immediate hotel area are chains (Dennys, Subway, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, etc) but its a very easy walk to the Venetian next door, or Caesars Palace across the street for more fine dining options. But again, perfectly fine for us in mid-March. If you want more of a resort hotel with an outdoor area, this isn’t it. I also did not see or use the pool, but I believe it was indoors. Luckily we could open the window, and in mid-March that worked just fine, but it will be a problem mid-summer. Our AC unit didn’t work right, however, and it was quite warm and stuffy in our 3rd floor room. The rooms were clean and very comfortable! They were quiet, too.
It was extremely well priced, and the location was perfect. Lucky for me, it finally showed up on my search results when I was looking for a room. As many times as I’ve walked past Casino Royale on other LV trips, I actually never realized it was a Best Western.
